Instructions for Use

Multiplication with Base Ten Blocks  allows your child to use base ten blocks to calculate the products of two numbers.

To use Multiplication with Base Ten Blocks, read the instructions and drag the sliders up and to the right to see how base ten blocks can be arranged to show various products. Click the Self-Check tab at the top of the screen to try some problems using numbers from 11 to 15. Enter your answer into the white box. Click the blue Check/Explain box to see how the question is solved using base ten blocks. Click “New Problem” to try another question. The Self-Check 2 tab allows you to practise using numbers from 11 to 20.
