Instructions for Use

BBC--Transformations allows students to practice different types of transformations, including reflections.

Try to reflect the image of the house, to the location indicated by the shadow, by choosing a mirror line and placing it on the grid. Then try rotating the house. Finally, try translating the house.

 

Wrapping Paper Patterns allows students to complete a step by step quiz on flips, slides and turns.

Read through the definitions and examples of flips, slides, and turns and answer the questions as you go along.

 

Measuring Turns is an online quiz on rotations.

Read each rotation question carefully and choose the correct answer from the three options shown.
