Instructions for Use

Teaching Measures is an interactive site you can use with the whole class to practise measuring length in millimetres. The site also includes some other measurement practise.

Select “Length” from the list of options. Then select “What’s my length? (15 cm ruler).” Click on the Millimetres and Centimetres signs to hide the measurements and then show the screen to the students. Ask what the length is in millimetres and centimetres.
