Instructions for Use Calculate the Area of a Rectangle allows students to practise calculating the area of rectangles. Read the instructions, scroll down to the Practice box, and click on “Start.” Calculate area, type your answer in the empty text box, and click “check” to see if you are correct.
Area Explorer allows students to practise finding the area of an irregular shape. You will be given a shape on a grid. Find the area, type your answer in the empty text box, and click on “Check Answer” to see if you are correct.
Exploring Area allows students to see how area of a rectangle changes when you change the length and width. Use the arrows to increase or decrease the length or the width of the rectangle. You will see the are calculation change accordingly.
