To encourage your child to have fun on the Web while learning about Modelling Patterns, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Moon Calendar shows your child the repeating phases of the Moon.

To use the Moon Calendar, set the calendar to any date from 3999 BC to 3999 AD. Choose a day on the calendar to see more detailed information about the moon on that day. Change the day or month to display the repeating patterns on the calendar.

Have your child look for and describe patterns they see in each month's calendar. Have them compare the patterns found in one month to the patterns found in the next month.
