Use the 'Clear' Button to start a new picture. 2-D Shapes and Symmetry helps your child use math language to describe lines of symmetry in 2-D shapes. To use 2-D Shapes and Symmetry, read the screen, then cut and fold these paper shapes to discover if there is a pattern in the lines of symmetry. Use math language to describe the lines of symmetry in these 2-D shapes. The Symmetrizer lets your child experiment with the symmetry in a kaleidoscope. To use The Symmetrizer, click the 'Play" button and move the mouse over the screen. To change the design on the screen, click on the face in the centre circle.
