Instructions for Use

Making Models prompts your child to use counting patterns to multiply.

To use Making Models, attempt to solve a multiplication problem, 3 X 5 for example. Click on the button "3" in the first column and on the button "5" in the first row of the table. Click the equal sign button "=" in the right upper corner of the table. The answer appears as a last number in both last column and last row of the table. Try different multiplication questions.

The Multiflyer helps your child practice multiplication using a multiplication table.

To use the Multiflyer, select the level of difficulty. Click the "Play" button. A multiplication sequence appears at the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Enter the answer into the field and click the 'Lock' button. If the answer is correct the internal ring will glow blue, if it is incorrect the ring will glow red. If your child is uncertain about the answer, click on the grid space for the numbers given in the multiplication sequence. As your child travels further in space to higher levels, the grid will give less information and it will simply say "no data".
