Instructions for UseShape and Space lets your child observe the relationship between 3-D shapes and their nets. To use Shape and Space, click the 'Unfold' button, and watch the shapes open. To answer the interactive questions, click 'Try Test' and fill in the text fields. Click 'Mark It!' to see your score. Nets lets your child match the solids to the nets. To use Nets, set the volume on your computer to hear Dr. G's instructions. Click either the 'Yes' or 'No' buttons to answer her questions. Folding and Unfolding Nets prompts your child observe folding and unfolding of complex nets. To use Folding and Unfolding Nets, choose a shape from the pull-down menu. The shapes will fold and unfold in the animation. Click the 'Pause' button to stop the action. Click and drag the shape to rotate it. |
