Instructions for UseQuiltmaker is an interactive program that allows your child to design a quilt by repeating, rotating and reflecting shapes. To use Quiltmaker, click on the triangles in the workspace. Click the 'Rotate' button to flip the shapes. Click the 'Reflect' or 'Repeat' buttons to extend the pattern in the quilt. Change the colour by clicking on the colour palettes. Click the 'Erase' to start over. Click 'Index' to show different patterns. Puzzle Parlor is a series of games that helps your child flip and turn shapes to make a pattern. To use Puzzle Parlor, click on a piece to drag it to a location inside the tray. Click on it again to drop the piece in location. Press a right key arrow to rotate the piece and a left-key arrow to flip the piece. There are several games for your child to select. They range in difficulty. Try all of them. |
