Instructions for UseButterfly Ten Frame helps your child gain confidence using 10-frames to add. To use Butterfly Ten Frame, have your child click on the number to answer the questions.
Ten Frame is an interactive tool that helps your child use 10 as a bridge when solving addition problems. To use Ten Frame, select one of the 5 games to play from the pull-down games menu. To play "How Many?", count the number of dots, and input the answer in the text box. Click the "Check Answer" button to see if the answer is correct. Click the "New" button for a new question. To play "Build a Frame", drag the number of dots unto the frame from the bank. Click the "Check Answer" button to see if the answer is correct. Click the "New" button for a new question. To play "Fill a Frame", count how many dots are needed to fill a frame. Input the answer in the text box, and click the "Check Answer" button to see if the answer is correct. You can drag counters from the bank to help you answer the questions. Click the "New" button for a new question. To play "Add with Frames", drag the number of dots into each frame to answer the equation. Click the "Check Answer" button to see if the answer is correct. Then combine the number of dots to answer the equation and input the answer in the text box. Click the "Check Answer" button to see if the answer is correct.
